By downloading, accessing, or using Daily Macros, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
App Purpose
Daily Macros is a nutrition tracking tool. The app can help you scan nutrition labels, enter nutrition information manually, create user-made custom foods, and review locally stored nutrition entries. Daily Macros is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional health, medical, or dietary advice.
Your Responsibilities
- Use Daily Macros only for lawful, personal nutrition tracking purposes.
- Review scanned or calculated nutrition information for accuracy before relying on it.
- Consult a qualified professional before making health, diet, or medical decisions.
- Keep your device secure, because Daily Macros stores app nutrition data on your device.
Local Nutrition Data
Daily Macros does not create an account for you and does not transmit your nutrition entries, user-made custom foods, scanned label text, photos, settings, or history through Daily Macros. App entries, custom foods, and settings stay on your device. User-made custom foods can be deleted from the Daily Macros Settings menu. If you delete the app or clear the app data, your stored Daily Macros information may be deleted from that device.
Nutrition Database Updates
Daily Macros may download weekly delta updates to the app's local nutrition database so that nutrition reference information can stay current. To determine which update package is needed, the app may send limited update-check metadata, such as the last time the local nutrition database was updated and technical delivery information needed to complete the request. Daily Macros does not upload your personal nutrition entries, user-made custom foods, scanned label text, photos, settings, or history as part of this process.
Third-Party Services
Daily Macros may use third-party services, including mobile platform services and advertising services. These services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
No Warranty
Daily Macros is provided "as is" and "as available." Nutrition label recognition, calculations, device features, and third-party services may be incomplete, unavailable, delayed, or inaccurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Macros and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the app.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Daily Macros after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
