Overview
Daily Macros is designed to keep your nutrition tracking information on your device. The app does not require an account and does not transmit your nutrition entries, user-made custom foods, scanned label text, photos, settings, or history through Daily Macros. Daily Macros may check for and download weekly delta updates to the app's local nutrition database.
Information Kept on Your Device
Daily Macros may store nutrition entries, manual macro values, user-made custom foods, saved label text, app settings, and theme preferences locally on your device so the app can show your history, saved foods, and daily totals. User-made custom foods may include names, serving details, and nutrition values you enter.
Nutrition Database Updates
Daily Macros may connect to an update service to keep the app's local nutrition database current. These updates are delivered as deltas, which means the app downloads only the database changes needed since the last local update.
To determine which update package to download, the app may transmit limited update-check metadata, such as the last time the local nutrition database was updated and technical delivery information needed to complete the request. Daily Macros does not upload your personal nutrition entries, user-made custom foods, scanned label text, photos, settings, or history as part of this update process.
Camera, Photos, and Label Scanning
If you choose to scan or import a nutrition label, Daily Macros may request access to your camera or photo library. Images and recognized label text are used to help create nutrition entries. You can deny these permissions, but label scanning or photo import features may not work.
Data We Do Not Collect or Transmit
- Daily Macros does not create user accounts.
- Daily Macros does not operate servers that store your personal app nutrition data.
- Daily Macros does not transmit nutrition entries, user-made custom foods, scanned label text, photos, settings, or history through Daily Macros.
- Daily Macros does not sell your nutrition entries.
Advertising and Third-Party Services
Daily Macros may display ads through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob. These services may collect or receive device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location, diagnostics, and other information according to their own policies and your device settings.
App stores, operating systems, and other third-party services may also process information independently when you download, update, or use the app.
Data Deletion
Because Daily Macros keeps nutrition data locally on your device, you can delete user-made custom foods from the Daily Macros Settings menu. You can also delete Daily Macros app data by clearing the app's data from your device settings or deleting the app. Weekly nutrition database update metadata is not your local nutrition history. See the Data Deletion page for instructions.
Children's Privacy
Daily Macros is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, email danny.boyV2006@gmail.com.
